Ezinne Emeruwa
MD, MPH, FAAP
Dr. Ezinne Emeruwa is a fellow in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Columbia University New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She is currently conducting research in quality improvement in Morbidity and Mortality Conferences as well as research in extubation failure following pediatric cardiac surgery.
Prior to her fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology she held a position as a clinical instructor while working as a hospitalist in the Cardiovascular ICU at Stanford University Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital where she had completed her residency in pediatrics. During her residency she completed research in pediatric cardiology at University of Benin Teaching Hospital in Edo State, Nigeria as part of the Pediatrics Residency Global Health Track.
She is board certified in pediatric medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. She earned her MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and her MPH from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in physics from Princeton University. She was born and raised in southern California and is an avid reader and traveler.
